COVID-19: Request to Restrict Travel
This past Friday our Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Piotr Oglaza issued a statement asking all residents in our communities to avoid unnecessary travel to other regions of the province. Mayor Kruger, along with Council, would like to emphasize their support of Dr. Oglaza’s recommendations.
Each of us needs to take steps to protect our community like avoiding unnecessary travel, to keep ourselves and our neighbors safe. We urge everyone in our Municipality to follow Dr. Oglaza’s advice. Mayor Kruger would also like to remind stakeholders to follow the best practices for handwashing, sanitizing and masking, in addition to avoiding unnecessary travel so we may remain in the green zone.
We appreciate every effort made by our community to keep each other safe.
