The burn ban has now been lifted in Wollaston Township but some restrictions remain in place by order of the Acting Chief.
Only small burns are permitted at this time – no more than two feet wide by two feet high and no brush burning is permitted at this time.
There is also no day burning at this time.
The staff and Council of Wollaston Township remind all stakeholders and visitors that our Fire Department is made-up of dedicated volunteers who respond to both fire and medical calls. Especially during this time, we ask for respect and kindness to be shown to our volunteers.
