NOTICE TO EVERY LANDOWNER WITHIN 60 METRES OF THE SUBJECT LAND
TAKE NOTICE THAT the Committee of Adjustment of the Township of Wollaston will hold a Public Meeting on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers, 90 Wollaston Lake Road, COE HILL, ON to hear an application for minor variance under authority of Section 45 of the Planning Act.
APPLICATION BY: KAYTLIN BURGESS AND BRENDON BURGESS
LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Part Lot 40, Concession WHR, PT 1, PLAN 21R-17455
and known municipally as 6831 Highway 620
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To request relief from Comprehensive Zoning By-law 50-10 to permit construction of an accessory building pursuant to Section 7.3 b) ii) to reduce side yard from 3.0 metres to 1.0 metre; and Section 5.32.1 iv) to request relief to reduce the minimum required driveway width for a single detached dwelling from 3.5 metres to 2.6 metres. The effect of the requested minor variance will be to facilitate the construction of a new 31 square metre detached garage in the rear yard of the subject property.
PUBLIC HEARING: You are entitled to attend this public hearing in person or you may be represented by counsel or an agent to provide information, to comment, or to ask questions about this application. Signed, written submissions that relate to the application shall be accepted by the secretary-treasurer before or during the hearing of the application at the address above and shall be available to any interested person for inspection at the hearing.
FAILURE TO ATTEND HEARING: If you do not attend this public hearing, it may proceed in your absence and, except as otherwise provided in the Planning Act, you will not be entitled to any further notice in the proceedings.
NOTICE OF DECISION: A certified copy of the decision, together with a notice of the last day for appealing to the Ontario Land Tribunal shall be sent, not later than 10 days from the making of the decision, to the applicant, and to each person who filed with the secretary-treasurer a written request for notice of the decision.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Information regarding the application will be available for public inspection on at the Township of Wollaston Municipal Office by appointment during regular business hours, Monday to Wednesday and Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
