As of 0630 hours Rogers advised they were experiencing issues with Internet & Cell service province wide but scattered according to outage maps online.
Appears intermittent. Some customers can text but not call. When you dial a customer the automated message says “customer unavailable check the number and call again”.
With communications down for these customers they maybe unable to dial 911 using cells and would need to find other avenues for accessing phone service to call 911; whether landlines, public phones, alternative customers devices, devices used by other providers or attend a local emergency agency location.
No indication on duration at this point.
